so, we rushed her there a few months ago in a breathing crisis because they were simply the closest. they did everyone anyone would do, and at first we were thankful. but then they began to lie to us about her respiratory rate and how long she needed to be there. They lied to us for hours and encouraged us to keep her overnight. You’d like to think you could trust an animal hospital, but we knew our cat and her diseases very, very well, we know when she can come home. they wouldn’t even let us see her and when I finally demanded it, she was fine and I took her home. Upon seeing the itemized bill and report, her breathing was never has bad as they said it was, she could’ve gone home hours before and saved us a lot money. so we disputed a PART of the stay, maybe about 30% of the bill. We happily paid for everything that was justified, but refused to pay for her extended stay based off lies. keep in mind we have spent THOUSANDS on this cat at the best hospital in New England and never batted an eyelash at the bills, we just did what we needed to do.
