I've gotten my Prophet (Dream/Storm) to level 28, now, still a good time away from finishing the first difficulty... I'm looking for ideas for a possible Legendary worthy build for him. I'd prefer to be a caster, obviously, but so far I've just been maxing both lightning bolt and distort reality. Later, when I've got more recharge gear, will it not make sense to have both of these spells? Any input is appreciated.Ob la di, ob la da.User Info: barn83 11 years ago#2use distortion wave as well (along with its Electrical Burn skill). very nice damage and fast cooldown.i'm trying to go for chain lightning straight away instead of maxing lightning bolt first."There's no next Pele. The point of this topic is to hear about build ideas that've worked in Legendary, so I have some ideas of what I can aim for (obviously using the mystic).Ob la di, ob la da.User Info: barn83 11 years ago#6i've never been to Legendary yet. but from my exp in playing D2, u always have to max out some spells to survive in higher difficulties. i'd say distortion ripple and chain lightning are good skills to max for the prophet due to high damage and stuns. the wave is also good as i described earlier, plus i think it slows enemies by 50%, reducing ur chance to die.and anybody using storm mastery should also go for the wisp since it is somewhat immortal with 99% chance to dodge.the phantom strike is also a good skill, although the cooldown is very long.afterall when u get to high levels, u have to put the skill points somewhere, u'll have loads of them and it's always good to max 1 or 2 skills then spread them all around."There's no next Pele. Lightning Bolt for the biggest punch, and Thunder Balls for their 5 second stuns and supplemental damage while LB recharges. With a lightning based staff, the Storm Nimbus, Temporal Flux (for Lucid Dream), and lightning bonuses from the above mentioned skills should also let my staff hit for a few good shots while TB and LB are recharging.Depending upon the recharge equipment I've gotten by that point, if I need/want another big punching spell, that's when I might go with Distort Reality/Temporal Rift, with another 7 points in Lucid Dream.Ob la di, ob la da.Prophet Build?.
