I have installed titan quest and immortal throne on my pc. I am having a large amount of difficulty defeating typhon the final boss of titan quest. My character is melee dual wield. he is level 32 with warfare and earth mastery. If I were you I'd go back and level up 3 or 4 more times before facing Typhon.http://titancalc.com/Can you go there and show us what your build currently looks like?http://i.imgur.com/N2XcD.pngUser Info: zenmurphy 8 years ago#3Warfare is difficult for Typhon to begin with, what the last poster said is also correct... your level is way too low to face Typhon. If you use titancalc.com and give us your build we can at least help with that. My suggestion would be to go back to the valley of the kings and farm the 2nd telkine for a while. Fighting your way in there and killing him will get you good experience for lvl 32 and will also hopefully get you some decent gear. If you have xmax... that would be an even better way to farm him. I farmed the 2nd telkine on xmax for about 30 runs with my first character.The first key to typhon is to avoid the meteors he calls down as these will pretty much one shot you, especially under leveled. The core dweller is worthless against typhon on normal as well, so don't even bother summoning him if you have him.He is beatable at level 32, it is just going to be a pain in the butt. What you need to do is this. Either spend some points in one of earth's ranged spells or buy a bow. Basically you are going to stick and move, stick and move, and hit him whenever you can with either a bow, volcanic orb, or eruption, depending on what you decide. At level 32 you are still going to get hammered by him too, regardless of how well you run around, so you will really need to keep chugging potions.I beat him with a warrior recently on normal and I used a bow a lot, it took a while because warfare is not a typical bow character. I was warfare/dream, so I used phantom strike then high tailed it out and hit him with arrows until the cool down was over. You could do the same thing minus the phantom strike. You might try hitting him with war wind and then hightailing it out of there, as that is a good rush attack that just hits for less damage.One thing to remember too... battle standard is your friend. Either way, post your build with titancalc and I am sure we can help.User Info: DarthShrimp 8 years ago#4First time I fought him... I stopped playing for 3 months out of frustration. Then, after reading some strategies in various forums, I came back to the game and beat him on my first try.One of the easiest (read: cheesiest) ways of killing him is to stay on the stairs leading to his "arena". If you're at the right distance (out of the top of my head, should be on the top of the stairs, but not on the platform itself yet), he'll not pursue you, just shoot his lightning spears. So all you have to do is shoot him with arrows, side-step the lightning, shoot more arrows, dodge, rinse and repeat. Depending on your attack speed, you'll probably not have time to shoot more than one arrow between each lightning attack though, and you may even have to dodge two or more in a row without having time to shoot at all, but in the end you'll get him. ;)User Info: zenmurphy 8 years ago#5Ack, I didn't want to tell him the cheap way :)Either way he is going to have one hell of a time in act IV so under leveled.User Info: Fusionmix 8 years ago#6That's underleveled?I feel better about my first character, my crappy Thane, now. She was specced so poorly it was if I blindly threw points into random skills without really choosing anything. Her saving graces were the dual Sabertooths I picked up in the Orient and socketed with a pair of Zeus runes that slowed enemies, but still, yeesh. She killed Typhon third try at level 31.This underleveledness does explain why she was getting her ass handed to her in Act IV after I imported her to IT and respecced. Huh.Anyway, for Typhon, just run in circles spamming AoE spells. Pull some points out of a melee skill and put them in that fireball spell that explodes. It'll take forever, but he'll eventually die and you shouldn't take more than a few hits (just watch out for that horrible life-drain attack of his).NEED HELP!!!
